Azerbaijani consul to Kazakhstan: Azerbaijani citizens are not deported from Kazakhstan

He said that 250 000 Azerbaijanis are living in Kazakhstan, 70 000 of which are Azerbaijani citizens.
“Azerbaijani citizens are engaged in small business, and mostly work in markets. The majority of them are settled in Almaty, Astana and Aktau,� he said.
The diplomat said that appeals of our compatriots are mostly connected with national passports. Rovshan Huseynzadeh said that the embassy gives return certificates to the Azerbaijani citizens without national passports. The diplomat also said that according to the new Regulations about consulate, consulate department will have the right to give national passport to Azerbaijani citizens.
Such a competence has already given to Azerbaijani consulate in Moscow and general consulate in St. Petersburg. /APA/
