Ali Asadov meets with Prime Minister of Northern Cyprus

Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Unal Ustel on June 13, the Cabinet of Ministers told APA.

During the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of high-level contacts between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, as well as the expansion of interparliamentary ties and cooperation between political parties.

The importance of holding the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Culture Days in Baku was emphasized. The initiative was assessed as a logical continuation of the growing interaction in the cultural and humanitarian sphere in recent years.

It was noted that cooperation within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States is developing successfully, and the active participation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the organization's activities as an observer was highlighted.

The parties discussed prospects for further development of relations between Azerbaijan and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in various fields.
