Deputy Prime Minister: Northern Cyprus attaches special importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan

Friendship ties between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus are growing stronger, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Fikri Ataoglu said at a press conference held in Baku on the occasion of Northern Cyprus Culture Day, APA reports.

Fikri Ataoglu stated that interparliamentary cooperation, mutual visits and joint projects contribute to the further deepening of relations.

“Friendship and brotherly ties between Azerbaijan and Northern Cyprus are growing stronger day by day. The close relations between our peoples form the foundation of our cooperation,” the Deputy Prime Minister stressed.

He noted that the leadership of Northern Cyprus attaches special importance to the development of relations and will continue its activities in this direction.

“Together with Türkiye, we continue our efforts to expand relations with friendly and brotherly countries. We believe that our cooperation with Azerbaijan will develop even further in the future,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
