Days of Qatari Culture in Azerbaijan â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. Days of Qatari Culture were inaugurated in Azerbaijan on Tuesday, APA reports. Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev and Secretary General of the National Council of Qatar for Culture, Arts and Heritage Mubarak Bin Naser Al-Khalifa attended the opening ceremony at the Museum Center in Baku. Minister Garayev welcomed the guests and wished them success in three-day event. Mubarak Bin Naser Al-Khalifa said they brought the most interesting pieces of Qatari culture and arts to Azerbaijan to display it during the Days. â€œThe mutual culture days are important for the extension of relations between the countries. We believe that the Days of Qatari Culture in Azerbaijan will strengthen the friendly relationship between the two countriesâ€. The interesting art works were displayed at the exhibition outside the Museum Center. Handicrafts, pictures, booklets describing the Qatari national traditions, as well as henna hand designs were shown there. A Qatari musical group played in the national musical instruments in the concert program outside the Museum Center.

Following the opening ceremony, short documentaries about the traditions of Qatar were shown and visual art exhibition was organized at the Center. The Days of Qatari Culture in Azerbaijan will last until June 12. Dr. Khaleed Yusif Ar-Darbashti will deliver lecture on the investment opportunities in Qatar at the Akhundov National Library and the folklore dance group will give a concert at the Rasheed Behboudov Song Theater in Baku within the Days of Culture. The guests will visit Mardakan and Surakahni districts of Baku on June 10-11.
