Heydar Aliyev Foundation and French company Servier organize treatment of 100 diabetics

Baku. Lachin Sultanova â€“APA. Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the largest pharmaceutical company of France Servier organized a one-year treatment of 100 diabetic patients. 1200 boxes of Diabeton MR were sent to the diabetic persons from the poor and martyr families, as well as refugees, the Foundation told APA. Servier Company came to Azerbaijan in 2005 and it is its second joint project with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the treatment of the second type of diabetics.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been successively carrying out the project â€œHighest care for diabetic childrenâ€ since 2004 to provide regularly the children under 14 with insulin and pen-injector. The Foundation takes an active part in the reconstruction and modernization of hospitals and clinics. It sponsored the construction of child gastroenterological, psycho-neurological centers, as well as rehabilitation center for the children needed in special care. The Foundation is supplied the medical centers with modern equipments too. It purchased haemodialysis and endoscopic machines from the world well-known pharmaceutical companies for the relevant medical centers in Azerbaijan.
