Thomas Goltz holds presentation of Yellowstone National Park for Azerbaijani environmentalists â€“ <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION </font>

Montana. Zaur Hasanov â€“APA. Thomas Goltz, â€œAzerbaijani Diaryâ€ author invited the experts of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to his house in Montana for a presentation of famous Yellowstone National Park. Montana State University, where Mr Goltz is teaching, is situated near this park in Bozeman.

Thomas Goltz gave wide information about the history of the national park and technologies used for the protection of nature. Then he invited the guests to a tour of the park to look at the boiling springs, bison, wolves and bears. Head of the Montana University Political Science Department Dr. Jerry Johnson informed the guests about the economic basis of the national park, environmentalist-producer of American Public Television Bill Campbell and author of â€œMark of the Grizzlyâ€ Scott McMillion gave details about the park.

Thomas Goltz invited the Azerbaijani guests to a dinner of Azerbaijani national meals, and showed them Azerbaijani corner in his house. He informed them about his reports from Nagorno Karabakh in 1991-1994. Professors of Montana University Bob Ebinger and Frank Wilmer, students of the university, executive director of the Foreign Visitors Center Megan McGlothlin and nearly 50 other guests attended the dinner.

The Azerbaijani environmentalists visited Montana to exchange experience with American colleagues within the US Open World Program. Staff member of the Forest Development Department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Bahadir Karimov, director of Gala National History and Ethnography Reserve Fikret Abdullayev, deputy dean of Azerbaijan Tourism Institute Anar Farmayilov and executive director of Shirvan National Park Seymour Karimov are in the Azerbaijani delegation of environmentalists visited the United States.
