Baku. Ulkar Rashidgizi – APA. It'll be one of the very first bigger events of this year's Eurovision Song Contest that will be held in Malmö, APA reports quoting eurovision.tv. Namely, on the 17th of January the draw to determine in which Semi-Final the countries will take part in will be held. At the event, every participating country will be drawn to one of the two Semi-Finals. Also, it'll be drawn which of the Semi-Finals the so-called Big 5 countries of Italy, France, the UK, Germany, Spain and the Host Country Sweden will broadcast and vote in. The event will be a part of the Host City Insignia ceremony where the symbolic key will be handed over by the mayor of the previous Host City - Azerbaijan to the new one.
The Georgian broadcaster GBP has informed us that this year they have chosen Nodi Tatishvili and Sophie Gelovani to represent their country in Malmö, this time in an internal selection. Nodi Tatishvili was born on in 1986. He graduated from the Tbilisi Musical School and Georgia’s Technical University. He has also studied in London. Sophie Gelovani was born on March 21, 1984. She studied at the Musical School, Piano department in 1990-1997.
