- As chairman of the jury, what is your impression of Azerbaijani duo Aysel Teymurzade and Arash?

- I am amazed by Azerbaijani representatives. I congratulate them and all Azerbaijanis. You made the right choice. It is a rhythmic song, wherever I go, I hum it to himself. Not because the song performed by Arash and beautiful girl, simply, this song sticks to the memory. Aysel has a different voice and beauty. Once again, I was convinced that the Azerbaijani women are very beautiful, and I bow to their beauty. I can say for sure that with all these preferences, Azerbaijan is bound to be among the first. I say this as a professional musician.

- What can you predict about the competition?

- I, as chairman of the jury, am not authorized to give any forecasts. If it were not so, I would say who I foresee in the first five. But I can say that your country will be high on this list.

- Your position is very important and responsible. What could you say about your work here?

- True, I have undertaken a very responsible job. I do not like this kind of work, and has always refused such offers. I agreed to the offer this year because the fates of many are decided here. This contest involved many countries in the world. This is one of the reasons for my presence in the jury.

- What is your opinion of Eurovision?

- This competition has an important place because it combines cultures of different countries. This contest raises not only the participants but also the country to the top. I say this as a once-participant of Eurovision. It may seem easy from aside, but I can tell you that performing in this contest requires great courage.

- Let me get a bit sidetracked. You often talk about your great love for Azerbaijan. It is interesting why youâ€™ve never visited our country?

- In general, Azerbaijan plays a vital role in my musical life. Before you, I reiterate my love for Azerbaijan. I have recently had a project with Aygun Kazimova. I have many friends in Azerbaijan. But it turned out that I had not been in Baku. Of course, this is not without reason. Some external forces hinder me to visit this city. It does not depend on me. But sooner or later I will achieve my wish. My intuition never lies. I am sure that I will soon meet in Baku with those who love me.

- Is there anything new in your personal life? Would you like to marry again?

- I have such a desire. But I want to marry only in Azerbaijan, of course if you find me a bride there.
