The quota allocated for the Hajj pilgrimage has been filled, Vusal Jahangiri, the Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasian Muslims Office (CMO) and the head of the Hajj electronic system, told APA.
He stated that the 1,250 quota places allocated this year for Azerbaijani pilgrims wishing to perform the Hajj have been fully filled.
It is noted that the first group of pilgrims from Azerbaijan will depart for Mecca on May 25, and the second group will follow on May 26.
