“After liberating our lands, we did not set our sights on even an inch of Armenian territory,” said Milikh Yevdayev, Chairman of the Mountain Jews Religious Community, at the 5th session dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Commemoration Day of Religious Confessions in Azerbaijan, organized by the Caucasus Muslim Board, APA reports.
He added that over 100 regional conflicts are currently ongoing worldwide, often without clear reasons. “If the world’s goods are at stake, everything belongs to this world. We Jews have lived in Azerbaijan for many years. I always emphasize that we should be grateful to our ancestors for choosing such a place as our home,” Yevdayev said.
