We are not interested in Armenia’s attitude towards the restoration of the Iravan Qadi, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO), Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazadeh told journalists, APA reports.
He noted that the Iravan Qadi was not newly created, but restored:
"In later periods, the activity of the Iravan Qadi was suspended because Azerbaijanis were deported from Iravan. We hope that we will return to our lands again. If the Qadi is active here today, we believe that it will soon operate on those lands as well."
