The Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, will visit the Vatican on October 27, CMO told APA.
On October 28, Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade will participate in a series of events organized together with the Dicastery for Interreligious Dialogue and the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity to commemorate the Nostra Aetate document and to reaffirm the importance of peace, reconciliation, and interreligious dialogue.
As part of the visit, the Chairman of the CMO is scheduled to meet with Pope Leo XIV, Vatican officials, prominent religious figures of various denominations, including recognized religious leaders of the Muslim world.
