There is no interfaith unrest in Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Haji Allahshukur Pashazadeh told journalists following the Eid prayer at the Taza Pir Mosque, APA reports.
"Unrest among Muslims is occurring in some parts of the world. It is a great happiness that a decision was made at the conference held by the World Muslim Council of Elders. An agreement was reached on the proper establishment of relations within Islam, and it was noted there that Azerbaijan should be taken as an example in this area. A written declaration was adopted. We will publish that declaration soon. Thanks to the policy pursued by our head of state, there is no interfaith unrest in Azerbaijan."
