“The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is carrying out new measures each year to begin the priority preparation procedures for the Hajj pilgrimage earlier, said Vusal Jahangiri, Head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) and Director of the Hajj electronic system, APA reports.
He stated that this year, the Ministry issued instructions to all Hajj missions worldwide to begin accepting applications for the next Hajj shortly after the previous pilgrimage ended. Accordingly, the visa issuance procedure has also begun very early, with notices that it should be completed by the end of Ramadan. We ask our citizens intending to perform Hajj not to assume that there is plenty of time, and to come and register before all places are taken.”
According to Vusal Jahangiri, despite starting registration early, citizens apply every day to register for Hajj: "Based on our previous experience, I can say that many citizens come at the end of the season to apply for Hajj, but by that time the quota is already full, and they cannot go. We advise pilgrims who intend to perform Hajj to apply without delay.”
