The Hajj quota for 2026 has been filled, head of the Foreign Relations Department of the Caucasus Muslims Board and head of the Hajj electronic system, Vusal Jahangiri, told APA.
He stated that 1,150 people have registered to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.
“Despite the quota being filled, applications are still ongoing. However, there are no places left. They can only apply next year,” Vusal Jahangiri said.
Note that the first group of pilgrims, consisting of 180 people, will depart on May 17.
Recall that the price of the pilgrimage package per person for the 2026 Hajj season has been set at 6,100 US dollars.
