Azerbaijan to strengthen control over bringing, sale and distribution of religious literature and religious audiovisual works

Baku. Laura Jabrayilli-APA. Control over bringing, sale and distribution of religious literature and religious audiovisual works will be strengthened in Azerbaijan, Ali Ismayilov, Head of Monitoring Group of Azerbaijan Copyright Agency told APA. The agency is expected to conduct broad monitoring along with the State Committee on Religious Associations. Ali Ismayilov said that the monitoring would cover not only the capital, but also the regions.
â€œIt will be investigated how the works are brought to the country, how the songs in audiovisual works and films are brought and distributed in the country and how they harmonize with our statehood and mentality. Generally, control over this sphere will be strengthened,â€ he said.
Ali Ismayilov also said that the related working plan had been presented to the State Committee on Religious Associations.
