Committee chief: Some religious organizations call to disobey the constitutional structure of the state and change the government violently

The committee chief said that use of religion for political purposes has not brought success to any country or society. Socio-political stability and peace were violated in these countries.
â€œAzerbaijan attaches great importance to the establishment of human rights and freedoms, peopleâ€™s beliefs and protection of national and moral values. Some religious communities misunderstand article â€œReligion is separate from the stateâ€. According to them, it means that the state never interferes with the activity of religious communities. This is wrong. Some religious organizations violate the law on freedom of religious faith, propagate religious intolerance. These organizations call to disobey the constitutional structure of the state and change the government violently,â€ he said.
According to the committee chief, relations of mutual understanding should be established between the state committee and religious organizations. /APA/
