Without naming the forces and states, the committee chairman said security agencies are dealing with these issues.
“It may seem illogical to name a force or a foreign organization. But no doubt, certain forces have hand in this. The members of this group are criminals and they should be exposed by the society and media. Guns are found in their houses, they steal firearms from the military unit or hide firearms somewhere. Is it a religion? Of course these persons represent radical, extremist, and even terrorist wing of a certain sect. They influence on weak-willed persons, violate Azerbaijani laws and international norms and commit actions contradicting the essence, ethics and great culture of the religion,” he said.
Hidayat Orujov said law-enforcement bodies carry out operations against such groups properly and noted that he always underline the existence of such groups in all his speeches and interviews.
“Of course, these are small groups, and are weakening, but they exist. Such measures had been taken before the recent measures, they produced some positive results. Unfortunately, it was impossible to bring all of them to the right way. If these groups continue their illegal actions, such operations will possibly continue,” he said. /APA/
