Azeri Islam-study scientist conferred medal of Russian Mufti Council

A presentation of initial results of the book “Islam book in Russia†was held within the framework of the 20th International Book Fair in Moscow, APA’s Russia bureau reports. The presentation was attended by Russian Mufti Council chief, Islamic Education Council Marat Murtazin, State Duma deputy, president of Russia-Islamic World Center for Strategic Researches, Shamil Sultanov and some other intellectuals.
Azerbaijani scientist on Islam-study, director of geoculture department of the Caucasus Strategic Researches Institute Elmir Guliyev, translator of the holy Koran into Russian has been conferred the medal “For moral unity†by Russian Mufti Council. The scientisit thanked for everyone for support in his activity. He stressed that the holy Koran was created for solidarity of all humanity on the basis of love and mutual respect with preserve of cultural palette of our planet not on the debris of civilizations. /APA/
