Most newspapers paid a part of debts to “Azerbayjan†Publishing House

“We paid the money in July. But it was not from the funds allocated by President Ilham Aliyev. I think it would not be right to pay the debt from the funds allocated by President,†he said.
Aydin Guliyev added that they would pay the rest of the debt in parts.
Editor-in-chief of the 525-ci gezet Rashad Majid said the newspaper had AZN 16,000 debt, they had paid half of it from AZN 20,000 allocated by President.
Editor-in-chief of the Sherg newspaper Akif Ashirlli did not publicize the amount of the debt, but said they had paid half of it.
“We will pay the rest of the debt in parts. We do not have problem with the publishing house,†he said.
Editor-in-chief of the Edalet newspaper Irada Tunjay did not publicize the amount of the debt, either.
“We paid a part of the debt from the funds allocated by President. We will pay the rest,†she said.
Deputy director of “Azerbayjan†Publishing House Basti Ismayilova told APA that most newspapers, including Azadlig had paid noticeable part of the debts.
“All, who had been warned, paid their debts. But there are those who have not paid. We have reached an understanding, so those newspapers are also being published. No newspaper has problem with the publishing house,†she said.
