Global cyber security conference held in Baku - <span style="color: red;">PHOTOSESSION

According to APA-Economics, this conference is organized under the support of International Telecommunication Union (ITU), World Bank, World Economic Forum, Interpol and Azerbaijani government.

The conference focused on discussions about all aspects of cyber security. The event also aims to save significant information in the internet and provide and promote exchange of leading experience in this sphere. The conference brought together high-level representatives and leading specialists of government, business and NGOs to research perspectives of future cooperation.

Azerbaijani Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said that the international conference is attended by 15 countries. According to him, the conference aims global cooperation against cyber attacks: “Azerbaijan is interested in solution of such problems”.

ITU Secretary-General Hamadoun Touré noted that 1/3 of the world does not use the internet. According to him, this is a great difficulty for ITU and it is needed to struggle against this difficulty jointly: “Everyone must cooperate mutually with one another against cyber attacks”.
