Azerfon forecasts 25% rise in major indicators - <span style="color: red;"> UPDATED

Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. The number of subscribers of Azerfon, Azerbaijan’s third mobile operator (Nar Mobile trademark), has risen by 25% since the middle of last year, Azerfon CEO Kent McKinley told journalists at the meeting at Media Club, APA-Economics reports.

“Subscriber base and incomes of the company are growing. But Azerfon will not content itself with this, the number of subscribers and incomes are expected to rise by further 25%,” he said.

Kent McKinley noted that the company is investing in various projects, this will be continued.
McKinley added that Azerfon will start applying 4G in the first quarter of 2014.

“Moreover we are thinking of applying Mobile Number Portability in the first three months of next year. I can say small changes can be made in the tariffs,” he said.

Currently, Azerfon is working on the establishment of innovation center. A special meeting has been held on this issue recently, talks are underway. Detailed information about the innovation center will be given soon.
