Azerbaijan for the first time launches mobile phone interpretation program

Dilmanc mobile interpreter has been worked out as a part of Dilmanc project of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies.

The Ministry told APA-Economics that the program also has the function to utter the interpreted text. When a word is entered, its translation in the dictionary, part of speech, synonyms etc are shown. When there is a mistake in the recognition of the oral speech, the text can be edited.

Dilmanc Translator is free and can be downloaded on Google Play Store. It is available for Android smartphones. Head of the project Abulfat Fatullayev said in the future the program will be available for other mobile platforms. He also said work is underway on the website translating large texts from Azerbaijani into Russian and English and vice versa with better quality.

As a part of the project, system converting oral speech to text was launched a few months ago. Dilmanc Dictation is also free.
