Baku. Aynur Aliyeva – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan’s Transport Minister Ziya Mammadov received the delegation led by Latvian Transport Minister Andris Matiss.
Transport Ministry told APA-Economics that Ziya Mammadov and his Latvian counterpart discussed bilateral relations, enhancement of cooperation, joint projects. Ziya Mammadov spoke about progress in Azerbaijan, large-scale reforms, achievements in international integration, Azerbaijan-Latvia relations, renovations in road-transport structure, large regional projects.
Giving detailed information about the spheres covering transport sector – railway, automobile transport, motor roads, Minister said cooperation with Latvia should be enhanced, underlined that the cooperation serves the development of transport infrastructure of Azerbaijan and Latvia.
Andris Matiss said there is great potential to enhance economic relations between Latvia and Azerbaijan. The ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations, enhancement of cooperation, joint projects and other issues.
