Memar Ajami-2 station will be a transfer station to the Green line. Escalators have already been transported to the area and initial construction square for their installation will be handed over.
Baku Metro told APA-Economics that 16 escalators of Thyssen Krupp Company will be constructed here.
Reconstruction works in the area have already been started.
Fire protection systems have been installed in the stations of new lines. In addition to devices to be installed at the station, service stairs with fire protection purposes will be constructed in entrances/exits. Electrical substations, ventilation rooms, relay rooms and etc technical service areas will be located on the technical floor.
Besides, issues regarding transition to Memar Ajami station must be solved, too. Construction of connecting corridor between the two stations has been completed, isolation and appropriate reinforcement had been carried out.
For the first time in Baku Metro’s history, multi-level links will be used in our country. One part of the station with 30.5 m-medium height is 5-stired, another part - -4-stored. Medium height of floors is 5 m, cover thickness between floors – 1.8 m. It has one linking corridor to the Green Line.
