Vice-president Sergei Fomenko noted that flights from Kiev to Baku would be operated on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays at 00.50, from Baku to Kiev on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 07.05 by Boeing-737.
Note that, formerly Kiev-Baku-Kiev flight was operated by Ukraine’s Aerosvit. But late December, the company addressed to the Kiev region Economic Court with a bankruptcy petition. The judgment states that, as of December 27, 2012 the company has a debt to the creditors in the amount of 537.5 million U.S. dollars, the gross book value of assets makes 184.6 million U.S. dollars. Kiev region Economic Court has sued bankruptcy case on December 29. In January, Aerosvit suspended all flights on Kiev-Baku-Kiev route.
Remind that Baku-Kiev-Baku flights are also operated by AZAL 4 times a week.
