Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Tajikistan's state airline Tajik Air suspended flights to the Pakistani capital Islamabad, Azerbaijani capital Baku, Indian capital New Delhi, and Dubai due to the company's financial difficulties, APA-Economics reports citing Tajik media.

According to Tajik Air CEO, Firuz Khamroyev, financial situation in the company is not stable and unprofitable flights had been making it even worse.

Khamroyev said that the reason why situation became difficult is that most of the airliners were on technical maintenance and the process took longer that was expected. Currently only 12 from 36 airplanes of Tajik Air operate.
