Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Till June, 2013, new Renault models will be put up for sale in Azerbaijan’s market.
Official distributor of Renault cars in Azerbaijan - Nurgun Motors told APA-Economics that Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway will meet the market demands.
Renault Logan is a spacious, reliable three-box sedan. Its main strong points remain its highly affordable price tag and easy maintenance. Renault Logan has modern, robust looks, with strongly marked wheel arches, taut side panels and a sculpted bonnet. The triangular rear lights soften the look, giving the car a distinctive appearance. Inside, the choice of materials reflects the strength and quality of the exterior. As Renault Logan is a small car with a small asking price, the engines fitted are small: a 1.4 liter with 75 horsepower and 83 lb-ft of torque, and a 1.6 liter with 90 horsepower and 95 lb-ft of torque.
The Sandero is another versatile cross-over vehicle from Renault. It is spacious and sleek, with off-roading capabilities. It’s the perfect car for the city slicker who likes to get away to the country on weekends. Affordable, drive-able and attractive. This small hatchback has a boot capacity of 320 litres and a total carrying capacity of 1,200 litres. It also comes fitted with a 1461cc 4-cylinder diesel engine that can create a healthy power output of 74bhp@5500rpm and a maximum torque output of 160Nm@3000rpm and it will be controlled by a 5-speed manual transmission. With the new and innovative package of gadgets and features make it stand out of the crowd. To keep you entertaining, it comes equipped with radio CD and MP3 player will be present with remote control. Overall, the brand new Renault Sandero looks very exciting to win many hearts as well.
The Stepway obviously has a greater lifestyle focus than the base Sandero, characterized by a higher ride height, roof racks and slightly bulged wheel arches. Just like VW did with the Cross Polo from the Polo, the changes aren’t exactly vast but it does seem to just work for what was trying to be achieved. Renault also put some thought into the interior to differentiate the Stepway from the regular Sandero, okay that is maybe a stretch. Basically the seats have a silver lining matching the dash with numerous metallic details. Thankfully the dash is a one piece design which helps minimise the rattles vehicles in this segment are prone to. The engine chosen for the Stepway is a 1.6L unit, the smaller options of the Sandero not being available thanks to the range topping nature of the Stepway.
