According to Ministry, speaking about existing relations between two countries,
Abbasov noted that the mutual interests for deepening of bilateral relations supported extension of Azerbaijan-Japan relations.
Drawing attention to the announcement of 2013 as a ICT year in accordance with the order of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the ambassador said that this step creates new opportunities for development of ICT sphere between two countries more.
Stressing Japan’s interest in organization of ICT forum in the country Vatanabe offered the topic of the forum to be satellite issues. According to him, the forum will be attended by representatives of Japanese state and non-state sector, as well as near 40 private companies.
In turn, Abbasov underlined that Japan’s experience in technology sphere is very significant for Azerbaijan, such forums will be important in production and consumption of Japanese technologies in Azerbaijan.
Besides, the forum has been decided to hold on February 27-28.
