Hungary is interested in projects implemented in Azerbaijan’s transport sector

APA-Economics reports quoting the Ministry of Transport that Ziya Mammadov spoke about the development of Azerbaijan’s economy, large-scale reforms, progress achieved in the international integration, including innovations, the work done in road-transport sector of Azerbaijan and large regional projects. Noting that transport is one of the mains fields of Azerbaijan’s economy, Mammmadov underlined that the government gives much attention to this sphere. Giving detailed information about the fields covering transport sector – railway, motor transport and roads, the minister underlined the importance of further cooperation with Hungary and its contribution to the development of transport infrastructure of Azerbaijan and Hungary.

Noting that he is aware of the progress achieved in Azerbaijan’s transport sector and large projects, Pál Völner underlined the existence of great opportunities for deepening economic relations between the two countries.

They also exchanged views on the opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in transport sector, prospective projects and the work done, development and signing of relevant agreements for establishment of normative-legal base between the two countries in transport sector and participation of Hungarian companies in the projects being implemented in Azerbaijan’s transport sector.
