Taking a stance on the statement of deputy transport minister of Armenia Artashes Avetisyan on possible use of Armenia Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway in future, he said that the accession of any country to the BTK depends on the agreement of all the three participating countries in the project: ‘Countries such as Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Romania show interest in the project, too’.
The ambassador also said that this year SOCAR and some Georgian companies will start the construction of an oil-refinery on the Black Sea coast.
