The researches were conducted on 87 types of construction materials in the markets of different districts: “The price rise in construction materials market since February continued in March. Along with this, the activity also raised in connection with seasonal factors”.
The experts say the price rise was also caused by acceleration of construction works and completion works in many construction companies. Price decline was only observed in imported iron materials. Consequently, compared with February, 0.22% growth was recorded in general construction portfolio. In comparison to a year earlier, the prices dropped 1.8%.
The volume of the local products at the market made 53.7% exceeding importing products by 1.16 percentage points.
