According to APA-Economics, Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Hungary Vilayat Guliyev, Hungarian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jolt Chutora, Director of WizzAir Company Gyorgy Abran and director of Hungarian trade house Ceyhun Abdullayev attended the meeting.
Safarov noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Hungary develop successfully and the cooperation between two countries was established on the basis of friendship: “Activity of Azerbaijan-Hungary intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation has significance in extension of economic cooperation. Hungarian Trade House was launched in Baku last year. Launch of Budapest-Baku-Budapest flight was discussed at the third meeting of joint commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary and initial agreement was reached in this regard. Relevant documents have already been signed and the flights will start from the middle of this year. Launch of direct flight will serve to increase passenger and cargo turnover”.
Ambassador Chutora stressed that both countries have great potential to develop the relations.
