“Recently some media outlets have reported that various 1.5 GB documents and reports belonging to the government agencies of Azerbaijan, including the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies have been stolen. Initial investigations have revealed that the letters and documents on Azerbaijan posted on foreign websites are false and biased. The relevant agencies named in the published reports sent letters to the Ministry and confirmed that this is a lie, officials of international relations department of Turkey’s Information Technologies and Communication Ministry expressed their protest in written form and stressed that they have no such documents. Investigation is underway”.
The statement also says that information security problem is still of global importance.
