Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani delegation consisting of employees of Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies has attended the two-day Caspian Telecoms 2013 regional conference-exhibition in Istanbul.
The Ministry says the event was known as a leading forum on telecommunication and information technologies for Caspian region, CIS countries, Turkey and Central Asia. The event was attended by more than 400 representatives from 35 countries.
The delegations discussed actual issues and potential opportunities of regional cooperation and socio-economic development. The discussions and reports included communication policy, perspective technologies and employment of leading technologies. Azerbaijani representatives shared their experiences making speech and spoke about communication and IT development in the country.
At the same time, equipment producers, communication operators, representatives of financial and international organizations joined the conference along with the representatives of communication administrations.
