Baku. Bijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. In April, 2013, cargo transportation tariff in Azerbaijan’s transport sector dropped 1.2%, passenger transportation tariffs rose 0.5%.
State Statistical Committee says average transportation tariff of 10 tonnes of cargo to 1 km on local connection soared 30.1%, on transit – 9.4%, import – 7.1%, export – 4.3%, passenger transportation to CIS countries surged 16.7%.
Passenger transportation via sea transport slipped 0.6%.
In air transport, the cargo and passenger transportations tariffs to CIS countries appropriately increased by 1.5% and 0.4%, passenger transportations tariffs to other foreign countries – 2.6%.
Oil transportation tariff fell 2.5% in April.
