According to APA-Economics, the Networked Readiness Index Ranking, covering 144 countries, was reflected in the report and Azerbaijan rose 5 ranks with 4.11 points to 56th place. In general, with Kazakhstan (43rd) and Russia (54th), Azerbaijan was considered as a most developed country in CIS place for ICT. 1
The first place was held by Finland with the points of 5.98, second place – by Singapore (5.96 points) and the third place – by Sweden (5.91). Top five includes Netherlands (5.81 points) and Norway (5.66 points). Top ten includes Switzerland (5.66 points), UK (5.64 points), Denmark (5.58 points), US (5.57 points) and Chine’s Province Taiwan (5.47 points).
Korea, Japan and Chine ranked 11th, 21st and 58th with the points of 5.46, 5.24 and 4.03.
Turkey ranked 45th with 4.22 points, Georgia – 65th (3.93 points), Armenia – 82nd (3.76 points), Iran – 101st (3.43 points).
Among the CIS countries, Ukraine ranked 73rd (3.87 points), Moldova – 77th (3.84 points), Tajikistan – 112th (3.29 points) and Kyrgyzstan – 118th (3.09 points).
Last three places were held by Chad (2.53 points), Sierra Leone (2.53 points) and Burundi (2.30 points).
