APA-Economics reports that leadership of Metro intends to organize independent movement both on the Red and Green line and this issue will be solved by 2016 within the framework of reconstruction of 28 May station. Separation process will be realized by French Bouygues and local Akkord construction companies. New Austrian method will be applied during this process.
Deputy Chief of Baku Metro Arif Resulov noted that the construction conducted with new Austrian method was first time realized in Prague. Though general principles and application opportunities of the method are evident, it will pass through the international expertise.
‘Very responsible work waits us after the start of construction works. All these works will be continued by 2015. Limitation of traffic will happen only in the last stage. But at the end it will be possible to apply optimal movement system in the metro’, added Resulov.
