Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. ‘Works for improvement of Rasht-Astara railway, which will join south borders of Azerbaijan and Iran, are continued rapidly, Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mohsun Pak Ayin told journalists, APA reports.
He noted the economic importance of the railway for the region. The minister said that activity of Iran-Azerbaijan border checkpoints had been increased to 12 hours.
“At present the relations are developing in tourism sphere, mainly in the field of medical tourism. In general, by the end of the year Iran expects a million tourists from Azerbaijan".
