The State Customs Committee signed an agreement with Baltic Workboats AS about purchase of three patrol boats in October, 2008. First boat was constructed until November, 2009 and two others in January and March, 2010. They were tested in May. A special vessel was leased for delivering the boats to Baku and they will reach destination later August.
WC 1500 patrol boats have 15 meters of length and they can reach 40 miles per hour.
