Meeting takes place on project ‘Feasibility study and detailed design for upgrading water intake structure at northern rivers and improvement of Absheron main canal for irrigation’

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. Interim meeting on KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) project ‘Feasibility study and detailed design for upgrading water intake structure at northern rivers and improvement of Absheron main canal for irrigation’ was held on August 10, 2010 in the Government House (Amelioration and Water Farm Joint Stock Company), KOICA told APA.
Korea Engineering Consultants Corporation (KECC) as an implementing company of the KOICA project presented the Result of the Feasibility Study to Azerbaijani side. In the meeting, there was also discussion session and Azerbaijani Experts mentioned their comments and suggestions about the Report of the Feasibility Study.
The project site is the basin of Kusari river’s intake structures (6ea) and Absheron main canal (73km) and the project budget is 3.4 million USD during 2 years (2009-2010).
