Officials of Azerbaijanâ€™s Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies meet with Korean delegation

Baku. Aynur Veliyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Officials of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan met with the South Korean delegation in Baku.

Officials of the South Korean Ministry of Economy and Knowledge, Science and Technology Development institute, University of Seoul, as well as South Korean companies, the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies told APA-Economics.

Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov said visit of the Korean delegation would be significant for strengthening and development of relations between the two countries in the field of information technology. â€œICT was declared as a priority of the government and large projects are carried out to pass from the crude economy to the economy of the information technologies. Azerbaijan highly appreciates cooperation with South Korea, which is notable for its technological developmentâ€, said the minister.

The guests optimistically valued relations between their country and Azerbaijan and said Korea was taking an active part in the realization of a number of projects in Azerbaijan. They said they believed in successful cooperation with the government of Azerbaijan, particularly with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.

The sides discussed the state and prospects of the cooperation in the field of information technologies, particularly focusing on establishing the e-government and e-education system.
