TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission to hold annual conference in Brussels

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission will hold its annual conference on October 12-13 in Brussels, TRACECA Intergovernmental Commissionâ€™s National Secretary in Azerbaijan Akif Mustafayev told APA-Economics.

TRACECA Investment Forum is scheduled for October 12, he said. TRACECA member countries submitted different transport projects to the forum. Azerbaijan proposed to establish International Logistics Center in the territory of Alat international seaport.

On October 3, top officials of TRACECA member countries will attend the conference. Moldova will take over TRACECA chairmanship from Kyrgyzstan. The conference will also focus on future projects, management issues, TRACECA reforms and etc.

The intergovernmental commission re-scheduled its conference from September to October.

Baku-based TRACECA Intergovernmental Commission was established in 1998. 13 European and Asian countries are full members of the organization.
