Tamiz Shahar JSC will conduct a summer school for pupils

Baku. Mahbuba Guliyeva â€“ APA-Economics. Within the framework of â€œYear of Ecologyâ€ announced by the President of Azerbaijan Republic Mr. Ilham Aliyev, â€œTamiz Shaharâ€ JSC will conduct a summer school named â€œFor the sake of Clean Cityâ€ from 26 to 31 July for pupils with the intention of attracting teenagersâ€™ attention to environmental protection and environmental enlightenment.
The purpose of organization of summer school is to increase awareness and world-outlook of pupils in the sphere of proper waste management, environmental protection, as well as to conduct public debates on environmental protection. The organization of summer school also reflects the development of environmental culture and attraction of teenagersâ€™ attention to environmental protection.
14-17 years old teenagers from secondary schools of Baku can participate in the summer school. Totally 60 people will participate in the summer school to be held in one of the sanatorium located in Qechresh village of Guba city by the support of â€œDebate in Civil Societyâ€ Public Union.
At the end of the program, debate competitions on waste management and environmental protection will be held among the participants. 16 teams from capital city schools will participate in the competition. It is expected to award participants with certificates and to give winners various gifts.
The participation in the summer school is free and transport, food, accommodation, training and leisure time expenses will be covered by â€œTamiz Shaharâ€ JSC.
