Azerbaijan to set video monitoring system in densely populated territory - <font color=red>LIST</font>

The Cabinet of Ministers says the decision was adopted according to offers of Azerbaijan’s Ministries of Internal Affairs, Economic Development, Emergency Situations, National Security and The Special State Protection Service.

The main suppose of the setting of video monitoring systems is to ensure the security of population, protection of legitimate interests of state, individuals and legal entities from illegal acts, flexible response to emergency situations and illegal acts. According to decision, Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs will set the video monitoring system in the following territories:

1.1. In densely populated territories, includes:
- In parks, avenues, squares, street and avenues, underground links;
- Stadiums and Sports arenas;
- Large trade and entertainment centers;
- near of hotels
- near of mosques, churches, synagogues, places for pilgrimage,
1.2. In objects, includes;
1.2.1. In transport Infrastructures:
- Local and national importance roads and highways
- Tunnels and bridges;
- Automobile and railway station, Air and Sea port;
- Parks and stations of automobile and passenger carrying transport;
- Passenger carrying transports;
1.2.2. Around of official buildings of executive, legislative and judicial authorities of Azerbaijan Republic;
1.2.3. Near of state objects which is strategically and important for life;
1.2.4. Near of banking and credit organizations;
1.2.5. Around of the buildings of diplomatic representations and posts of consul of foreign countries in Azerbaijan and representations of international organizations;
1.2.6. Near of educational institutions
1.2.7. Near of apparatus of coin-box telephones;
The decision has come into force upon signature – July 6.
