Transport and post tariffs down by 1.6% in Azerbaijan in May

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Transport and post tariffs down by 1.6% comparatively former month, up 4.4% compared with a year ago, State Statistic Committee told APA.

The tariff indexes declined 1% compared with April, 12.4% with a year ago.

Freight tariffs on air and pipeline transportation decreased by 0.2% and 4%, on railway transportation grew 3.3%.

Passenger transportation on air transport decreased by 6%, on railway 18.5%, on sea transport rose by 5.5%.

Telecommunication tariffs fell 1% in the current month.
