Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Railway cargo transport rose by 6.5% to 8.9 mln tonnes during January-May, in Azerbaijan, State Statistical Committee told APA.
According to Committee, 697 waggons were entrained and 451 waggons detrained per day, during the same period.
The cargo turnover rose by 9.2% to 3.4 bln tonnes/km in January-May, compared with a year ago.
