Tariffs of freight traffic activity in transport sector 1.7% decreases in May in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The freight traffic activity in transport sector decreased by 1.7%, passenger transportation declined by 0.8% in May, in Azerbaijan.

According to State Statistical Committee, the freight traffic activity via railway in local contact fell by 2.5%, transfrontier â€“ 0.9%, for transit â€“ 0.5%. The tariffs of entry of merchandise rose by 11.2%.

Passenger transportation to CIS countries via Railway rose by 18.5%.

Passenger transportation in Sea Transport 5.5% increased, during the month.
