Azerbaijan presents Council of Europe and European Court jubilee postmarks in Strasbourg

Strasbourg. Fuad Gulubeyli â€“ APA. Azerbaijan issued postmarks on 60th anniversary of the Council of Europe and 50 years of the European Court of Human Rights. The postmarks were presented at the 11th plenary session of the Council of Europe Congress of Local and Regional Authorities in Strasbourg, APA correspondent reports. The postmarks were issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan. Chairman of Azerbaijani delegation to CLRA Anar Ibrahimov and CLRA president Ian Micallef addressed the presentation ceremony.

President of Azermarka Company Intigam Bagirli also participated at the ceremony. He told APA that it was sign of Azerbaijanâ€™s respect to the Council of Europe. â€œIt is the second postmark issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies. The first one was issued on the 50 years of the Council of Europe ten years ago. This time the postmarks were dedicated to 60th anniversary of the organization. The decision was made by the ministry and it was a sign of Azerbaijanâ€™s respect to the Council of Europe. It shows once again that Azerbaijan has close cooperation with the Council of Europe. The postmarks were designed by Azermarka Company and confirmed by the Council of Europe. The postmarks were issued in Azerbaijan with 100 000 circulationsâ€.
