The next court hearing on the criminal case of Oleg Krapivin, a Ukrainian millionaire known in the criminal world as "Oleg Bakinsky", who was arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of hooliganism, and Konstantin Kucher, has been held, APA reports.

At the hearing of the criminal case involving Oleg Krapivin and Konstantin Kucher took place at the Baku Court of Grave Crimes. The trial, presided over by Judge Elnur Nuriyev, was held in video format, where witnesses were questioned.

Witness Elshan Soltanov stated that he worked as a director at the Global Force company. He said that he was not aware of the signed contracts: "For certain reasons, I was not aware of some of the contracts I signed. I do not remember how many contracts I signed. I was also not aware of their implementation. In general, I was having problems with the management within the company due to some issues. I could not do anything other than the internal affairs of the office. Konstantin Kucher appointed me to this position."

Konstantin Kucher, in response to a question addressed by the prosecutor, stated that he had not given such an assignment.

Later, K. Kucher's lawyer filed a motion to submit information on the victims' entry and exit from the country in the period from July 1, 2024 to February 2025. To determine how many times they were in Baku.

The court granted the motion based on the deliberations.

Oleg Krapivin's lawyer requested his client's release under house arrest, stating that Krapivin is a professional athlete and has also begun a hunger strike. The lawyer argued that the charge against him is considered a less serious crime.

Oleg Krapivin also asked for the petition to be granted: "I am 60 years old. Azerbaijani witnesses also confirmed that I had nothing to do with the incident. Why should we leave our own witnesses and believe others?"

The documents were then examined.

The forensic medical examination report indicated that Valery Zakharenkov had a broken left elbow and a cut on his forehead. He applied to the Yeni Klinika in this regard. It was determined that he had suffered minor injuries.

The examination of other documents was postponed until further proceedings.

However, Judge Nuriyev stated that the hunger strike would not influence the trial, as it could be perceived as an attempt to pressure the court.

After deliberation, the court decided to reject the motion for house arrest. The trial has been postponed indefinitely.

Note that "Oleg Bakinsky" was arrested in Baku last year for alleged hooliganism against a Russian citizen. He was charged under Article 221.3 of the Criminal Code (hooliganism committed with the use of weapons or objects used as weapons, accompanied by violence against the victim or destruction/damage of another's property). A pretrial detention measure was imposed against him.

Later, he was also charged under Article 178.4 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed causing particularly large financial damage).

Alongside "Oleg Bakinsky," Konstantin Antonovich Kucher, who served as Ukraine’s Deputy Minister of Defense Industry for Aviation Affairs in 2010-2011, has also been found guilty in the case.

The victims in the case are identified as "Aviazapchast" JSC, "Promyshlennye Postavki Kazakhstan" LLC, and Zakharenkov Valeriy Nikolayevich.
